In 2005 my family moved from New Orleans to Memphis in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  A few months later, I began a much-needed regular practice of yoga.  Getting on the mat became a part of my life, not only for the physical benefits, but also for the space that my practice created--- in my body and mind.  I realized that I would be a “yogi” for life!  I completed my 200 hr. RYT with Sarla Nichols at Midtown Yoga in Memphis in 2007, and am currently pursuing my 500 hr. RYT with Stephanie Keach at Asheville Yoga Center.
